A Louisiana prisoner with terminal cancer who spent decades in solitary has been released. U.S. District Chief Judge Brian Jackson overturned the 1974 murder conviction of Herman Wallace, who had been held 41 years in solitary confinement at the state penitentiary at Angola and another prison.
